Impulse Studios
Everyone here at Impulse Studios has been actively following Jim's endeavour from back in May when he went public with his bid. While there were many ups and downs during the recent months, one cannot discount Jim's dedication and resilience to his cause. We created this site because we feel strongly about the events that have transpired and sense that we were not likely the only ones feeling this way. We owe our thanks to Mr. Balsillie and we hope that others will join us in letting Jim know just how much we appreciate his efforts.

I just wanted to say thanks…
You gave it your best attempt to get a team in a sport which you and many other Canadians are so passionate about. Although the NHL felt you are not the type of owner they feel you would be to meet what the expectations of the NHL, but we as fans appreciate your efforts. Myself, I have given up on the NHL and will focus on less politcal hockey such as the OHL. If I may suggest, give up on the NHL dream, take the millions you had intended on buying a team, gain interest from other investors and create a new league which will show fans that the passion belongs on the ice and not in board rooms making money.

Jim,
Thank you for recognizing Hamilton / Southern Ontario as a market overflowing with hockey mad fans, and many thanks for a great effort by yourself and your team in attempting to bring hockey back to it’s roots, where it belongs.
Whether you choose to pursue this dream any further or not, you will never know just how great full many of us are for what you tried to do.
