Impulse Studios
Everyone here at Impulse Studios has been actively following Jim's endeavour from back in May when he went public with his bid. While there were many ups and downs during the recent months, one cannot discount Jim's dedication and resilience to his cause. We created this site because we feel strongly about the events that have transpired and sense that we were not likely the only ones feeling this way. We owe our thanks to Mr. Balsillie and we hope that others will join us in letting Jim know just how much we appreciate his efforts.

I just wanted to say thanks…for a tremendously long tiring expensive effort fighting the NHL, especially Bettman. You have done our city of Hamilton proud and all of southern Ontario and Canada with your tenacity to bring another team to this hockey mad country. I just wanted to say thanks…for believing in your dream, not many have the opportunity nor the resources to peruse and take on the NHL. I watched and hoped as well as many of my friends that you would have been successful. to our collective loss, unfortunately the bid did not go the way you wanted. We as Canadians and proud hockey fans salute you and hope you continue to believe in your dream. Hockey in Hamilton.

I just wanted to say thanks…for showing the NHL for what it is, a tired cabal of Toronto-fearing, greedy dolts who will do anything to keep an NHL team out of Hamilton. The NHL spin machine is currently in high gear, with all the Toronto media on board, spouting the Bettman B.S. about what a bad guy you are. I know better. Thanks for doing your best to seek justice for Hamilton. This war is not over, though the battle may have ben lost for now. Keep up the good fight, Jim. I am on your side.

I just wanted to say thanks…
You gave it your best attempt to get a team in a sport which you and many other Canadians are so passionate about. Although the NHL felt you are not the type of owner they feel you would be to meet what the expectations of the NHL, but we as fans appreciate your efforts. Myself, I have given up on the NHL and will focus on less politcal hockey such as the OHL. If I may suggest, give up on the NHL dream, take the millions you had intended on buying a team, gain interest from other investors and create a new league which will show fans that the passion belongs on the ice and not in board rooms making money.
